I lead dynamic, customizable writing workshops for children and adults, from beginners to advanced writers. Areas of focus include children’s picture book writing, short fiction, personal narrative, memoir, poetry, and long fiction. As an adjunct professor at Cañada College and frequent guest lecturer at Stanford University and other esteemed academic institutions, I am experienced at leading writers through the creative process and helping them reach their potential. Workshops are one-day or multi-day.

I offer presentations as well as writing and editing workshops for all ages. I can present on the following topics:
